Ali English
BSc (Hons) Herb Med, MNIMH

Ali qualified in Western Herbalism at Lincoln University in 2009, following a lifelong passion for plant medicine.

Since graduating, she has practiced, taught many workshops, provided many talks to a variety of groups, and lately has written three books on herbal medicine, titled Wild Medicine - Spring, Wild Medicine - Summer, and Wild Medicine - Autumn & Winter, all of which are available from Amazon UK or from Aeon Books, the publisher.

She currently teaches on the Degree in Clinical Herbalism at Lincoln College in addition to practicing at Havelock Holistics and spends her spare time (what there is of it) foraging for herbs to make the medicines for her patients, and working on at least two new books.

Ali English, herbalist

Western Herbal Medicine is a discipline that, while it has its roots squarely in history, is also backed by modern research, with many papers being available attesting to the use of herbs in the treatment of many ailments.   Ali firmly believes in the ability of a well constructed herbal prescription to bring about huge changes in health - and if you are on medicine from your GP, she will research each drug carefully to ensure there are no interactions with your herbal prescription.
